Pankhuri Agrawal is an independent facilitator, writer and researcher based in Bangalore.

In 2022, she completed a research project on street vendors for the City Food Research Group, Department of Nutrition and Food Studies, New York University, with Professor Krishnendu Ray.

She founded the Yayavr Food Book Club in July 2022, which discusses the history, sociology, politics and literature of food in India. In what seems like another life, she studied how cities grow and change (at Haverford) and philosophy (in Manipal), and performed classical Manipuri dance across the U.S. and India. Her two children love to bake banana bread and slurp nalli soup with her.
