Work with Pankhuri

Research

In 2022, I worked on a street vendors project for the City Food Research Group, Department of Nutrition and Food Studies, New York University, with Professor Krishnendu Ray.

 

I conducted ethnographic research and made notes at how tomatoes, cilantro/ coriander leaves, onions and green chillies reach our street vendors. I interviewed actors at every node of transaction, from the field, farm gate, through APMC yards, small shops and street carts.
